Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture Society was registered on 10th November 1990 under Society Registration Act, XXI of 1860. IVS Society is a non-political, non-commercial and non-profit autonomous body formed to establish Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (The School is an autonomous body now under a charter) IVS Society fulfills objectives which are defined in its Memorandum and Articles of Association.
